Welcome to JustInOut (referred to as "JustInOut", "we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, process, utilize, and protect customer records, employee profiles, attendance logs, and payroll calculations when you subscribe to our software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform.

By accessing or using our services, you consent to the operations and policies defined in this document. If you do not agree with any terms listed here, please discontinue use of the JustInOut platform immediately.

2. Data We Collect

To provide our HRMS, payroll calculation, and project management modules, we process specific categories of data on behalf of our client organizations:

  • Account Registration Info: Client organization name, business email, physical address, telephone number, and tax registration credentials (GSTIN/PAN).
  • Employee Directories: Names, employee IDs, email addresses, job titles, departments, salaries, bank coordinates (for direct deposit), and tax slabs.
  • Workforce Operations Data: Real-time clock-in/clock-out timestamps, geo-location data (if mobile attendance is enabled), biometric logs, leave requests, and timesheet records.
  • System Usage Logs: IP addresses, browser specifications, login logs, and UI interaction telemetry.

3. How We Use Data

JustInOut processes data solely under the instructions of our clients (who act as the Data Controllers). We use the data to:

  • Calculate salaries, deductions, EPF, ESIC, professional tax, and generate automated payslips.
  • Track employee working hours, shifts, overtime, and leave allocations.
  • Generate productivity reports, audit trails, and financial analytics.
  • Verify identities during login and troubleshoot platform technical support tickets.

4. Security & Encryption

We execute bank-grade data security protocols to protect your corporate records:

  • Encryption in Transit: All data transferred between your browser and our servers is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL/TLS 1.3) protocols.
  • Encryption at Rest: Database backups and sensitive files are encrypted using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) standards.
  • Server Redundancy: Our cloud environments run on multi-zone regional servers with automated hourly backups and DDoS protection.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your company or employee records to third-party marketing firms. We share data only in the following scenarios:

  • With trusted hosting providers and databases (like AWS or Google Cloud) hosting our software.
  • With SMS/Email notification gateways utilized to deliver clock-in confirmations or payslip links.
  • If required by court order, law enforcement, or public authorities to satisfy national security or regulatory rules.

6. Your Rights & Controls

Under privacy regulations (including GDPR and Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act), employees and administrators have the right to:

  • Access, review, correct, or update personal information stored in their profile.
  • Export complete historical payroll, attendance, and profile data in structured formats (Excel/PDF).
  • Request account deletion or request restriction of data processing (subject to legal or corporate retention periods).

7. Cookies & Tracking

We utilize essential cookies to manage authenticated sessions, preserve user preferences (like language or UI theme), and analyze site traffic statistics using Google Analytics. You can adjust your browser properties to decline cookies; however, this may degrade some core functionalities of our HRMS workspace.
